- An atypical antipsychotic medication used in the treatment of schizophrenia, bipolar, psychosis, Tourette’s, major depressive disorder (MDD) and it’s also prescribed as an “add-on” antidepressant medication for adults, to be taken alongside their regular antidepressant.

Quetiapine:

- An antipsychotic medication used for the treatment of major depressive disorder (MDD), post-traumatic stress (PTSD), generalised anxiety disorder (GAD), acute manic episodes, bipolar, schizophrenia, psychosis, obsessive compulsive disorder (OCD) and it’s also prescribed as an “add-on” antidepressant medication for adults, to be taken alongside their regular antidepressant.

Atypical antidepressants and the various other medications used for the treatment of depression can cause side effects the same, similar to, or worse than the ‘typical’ antidepressants (SSRIs, SNRIs, TCAs, NDRIs).
